I had the privilege to work with an elderly woman for eight hours. We talked all day about her family and I help her with her bath. The feeling that I had at the end of the day was so wonderful. I was so excited to start working with the elderly because I knew I could help them even if was just to talk with them I would be a good listener. Over the years I have come to realize that I am a very emotional caregiver because I get so attached to my patient . I love to get to know them and be as helpful as I can. The first thing about being a great caregiver is to listen to your client and to be patient at the same time your patience will always be comfortable talking to you I became a caregiver for my grandmother that open the door for taking care of others one of the things that I enjoy most about being a caregiver is how exciting your client feels when you come to see them it's almost like two friends having tea and challah bread one of the things that I achieve in the work that I do is how I'm able to communicate with my clients even if it is a hospice care I take great pride in what I do and I always remember getting sick and aging can happen to anyone you're not above it so you treat people with respect and hope for the same when it is your turn.

I became a caregiver to provide warmth and comfort the the elderly and disabled. I like making the client feel secure and know that they can trust me. I give 110% to everything I do. When they see a familiar face everyday it makes them feel good and their willingness becomes better as the days go by. Their faces light up and they talk to you about anything that's on their mind. Even if they say the same things over and over again, it gives them great pleasure that you are willing to listen. Seeing the happiness on their face is the best achievement that I could ever give. Knowing that they are happy and content. I have been doing this so long, it doesn't feel like a job more like accomplishment. Helping people who can't help themselves. Lite housekeeping, medication reminder, food preparation, bed bath, baths, errands, medical visits, arts and crafts, accompanying them outside, laundry, inventory and anything else they will need. My serves is available Monday thru Friday. Full days
