For the last three years I have been with a wonderful lady who pass on her 102 birthday and her daughter who will be moving to an independent living on Oct 1. This is why I will be leaving here this house is to big for the both of us and there to many memories here which we both become sad at times. Hello! My name is Kqortni, Im 18 about to be 19 years old. Since I was a child I've always found myself drawn to the elderly. I love them and I've always wanted to be the one to help them when they were in need. Whether it was family, family friend, a stranger, a teacher, it didn't matter. I wanted to be there for them and show them love. I feel my compassion and patience would work perfectly when being a caregiver. The main thing I enjoy about being a caregiver is just seeing that smile on their face sometimes or just knowing that they know someone cares for them. Sometimes people tend to abandon and treat the patients badly and I want to be that person for them to turn to.
