Hi my name is Cassandra I am a type 1 diabetic. I have always had an interest in the health field and helping others since I was little. I really enjoy helping people who need an extra hand in everyday living it is very rewarding for me to see someone smile and have that relief that they don't always have to do everything on their own that there is always someone there willing to lend a helping hand. Having a disease like diabetes has really pushed me into wanting to work in the health field. I am currently trying to get my STNA so I can continue my journey working with and helping others.

Hello, my name is Lynn hall and I became a caregiver after my divorce, I had no experience and honestly not much work experience as was a stay at home mother.My neighbor said I should try caregiving as she thought I would be a good fit! Actually, I am a Registered Nurse. Characteristics: dependable, honest, independent, optimistic, hard-working, encouraging, a problem solver, a good listener and communicator. I became interested in health care when I was 10 years old and in the hospital over Christmas having had an emergency appendectomy. My mom worked for a doctor (earning $1 an hour) and was always telling us about interesting cases and teaching us strange sounding medical terminology. Most of my nursing career was in a Medical Intensive Care Unit at Ohio State University Medical Center. After that exciting career, I started working in Home Health in 2008. I enjoy working 1 on 1 with my clients, offering encouragement, seeing that they are receiving proper care, and hearing their life stories.

I was a professional caregiver on and off since 1975. I am compassionate and well trained in caregiving. I enjoy spending time with those I care for and meeting their needs. I enjoy doing something I love and also being able to get paid for it. I have held awards for caregiver of the year from a job and promoted to head supervisor in a nursing home I worked in for many years.

I am going on my third year of college, and my third college as well. I am finishing up my surgical nursing degree at Marion Technical College with a Surgical Technician certification and a phlebotomy certification as well. I have spent time in caring for my grandmother while she was in and out of the hospital, and I will provide compassionate care to those who need. My job as a future nurse is to provide comfort and love to patients varying different health conditions. My ideal job profession in the future is to work in hospice as well. When I was younger, I had a heart disease and my life-long goal is to give back to nurses and patients with 110% passionate and sympathetic care.

I am capable of running most home health care equipment. I am also very capable of dealing with doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and hospice. I manage a facility that is rated a 5 star home for 4 years in a row by the state. About me personally; I have been married to my husband for 30 years and we have a 16 year old daughter. We have lived in the same house for 22 years so you might consider me a very stable person. I enjoy working outside in my flower beds, church activities, and my daughters sporting events.
