I'm a hard worker, compassionate, take initiative and go beyond to get the job done, great communication skills, flexible, honest and a pleasant personality. Always aware of the physical and emotional needs of this in my care. What attracted me to being a caregiver, when my grandma passed away, I knew that my grandfather was lonely and needed some assistance in his care. I started reading his mail to him, taking him around to his appointments, shopping, cleaning his home and just keeping him company and I knew from there that I wanted to help anyone in need. A neighbor had Cerebral Palsy and she was getting worse. She needed help with transportation to her appointments and shopping, cleaning her apartment. Being a great companion, caring, communicating with elderly when necessary and having a lot of patience.
I chose to be a caregiver when I was sixteen years old. I have cared for my mother and father for many years however, my father sadly passed away four years ago. But I still care for my mother. I have my certificate from ace tutor in 2011. I enjoy talking to people about things that they like to do and about their life story. It tells a great deal about them and history before my time which brings happiness to me.
I became a caregiver for my aging parents and later for my Aunt. I know how much joy it brought to them knowing that someone was there to help them and it gave me peace of mind knowing that they were safe and taken care of. I am an experienced STNA caregiver with ten years of experience. I truly enjoy being a care giver because I know how important it is to have someone you can trust with your loved ones. It makes me feel great when the family truly appreciate the care and treatment I give and I' m made to feel like I'm part of their family. I've worked in private homes, assisted living facilities, dementia care units and with hospice patients. I love my career and look forward to assisting families during a most challenging time in their lives. I am compassionate, caring, trustworthy and patient. I render my services diligently using the skills and knowledge I've obtained through the American Red Cross and my STNA schooling.
Caring and loving disposition, have always enjoyed taking care of my clients or patients. I have over 10 years experience in different healthcare settings including working specifically with dementia and Alzheimer's patients, as well as hospice care. I am willing to fill the needs as if they are my own family. I prefer morning or overnight shifts and I am willing to help in PRN situation as well. Thank you and best wishes.
My specialties are providing outstanding care for clients suffering from Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, as well as Parkinson's disease. You will have a complete sense of security of my companion and personal care, which focus on activities of daily living. With companion care, I help combat feelings of loneliness and sometimes the care is as simple a game of cards, some light exercise, or something they loved to do. My care for your loved one often expands into more services, such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, or medication administration by me to ensure proper medicinal treatment. My personal care focuses on more sensitive areas of hygienic care. My love for helping them live a better life is my goal.

My name is Bejonnah. Most of my employers call me Jay. I became a caregiver/nurse because I love nothing more than to put a smile on someone's face in their darkest hours or their brightest days. Ever since I was a child I knew my passion was to help others and that's exactly what I've been doing since I figured that out. I am a nurse (LPN). I believe I am a great nurse because I not only care for people as if they were my family, but I make sure that they realize that what I do is not just a job but a passion that I pursue through every aspect of my work. Every person I have worked with has told me that I am hands down a rare gem when it comes to this profession. They tell me that my bedside manor is simply beautiful and that if they ever have to get ill one day that they hope to have me as a nurse. I do my best and work my hardest when I am put to a job because I am a very mature and determined young caregiver and if you hire me that is exactly what you can expect from me! My hourly rate is $25/hr due to my nursing education/skills and official license on. My rates are negotiable so please feel free to contact me and ask any questions! Thanks so much for taking the time out of your busy day to read this!
