When choosing a great caregiver you have to have patience, I know that changes occur whether we are already for them or not and I understand that. Being a caregiver have its own rewarding benefits such as traveling and seeing new horizons but getting to know a person while becoming a growing member of their family is the best feeling. As I have many achievements in life so far, there's only one that I'm most proud of is having my three beautiful little girls! Being able to be those three little girls positive role model in life is the most achievable feeling ever!
I know that my best traits are being patient, empathy, compassionate, and encouraging my clients and I love to make them smile. I started out working with my multi handicap son, and I spend so much time with him and his development as child, I most definitely knew I could take care of the elderly I knew I had a lot of experience taking care of my son.. I have a big heart and I enjoy helping others that are in need of help. At the end of the day I feel satisfied helping out with someone's ADL's. When my son was born the doctors told me he wouldn't be able to walk, talk or do anything for himself, well I proved them wrong I worked with my son and also going to different workshops for multi handicap babies and children. My son began to do the things the doctors said he wouldn't . That is greatest accomplishment for me personally.
My specialties are providing outstanding care for clients suffering from Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, as well as Parkinson's disease. You will have a complete sense of security of my companion and personal care, which focus on activities of daily living. With companion care, I help combat feelings of loneliness and sometimes the care is as simple a game of cards, some light exercise, or something they loved to do. My care for your loved one often expands into more services, such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, or medication administration by me to ensure proper medicinal treatment. My personal care focuses on more sensitive areas of hygienic care. My love for helping them live a better life is my goal.
My expertise that helps me be a great caregiver is I'm very understanding and patient compassionate. What attracted me to being a caregiver is I took care of my grandmother since I was 16 until she passed and we spent a lot of time together and I realize I was companionship for her and I just made her day we used to go shopping and eat breakfast together go to the laundromat together and just sit and talk for hours and drink coffee, about a few years after taking care of her she got diagnosed with dementia and I started to be her respite care provider for my mom and we got to spend lots of time together and I took her doctor's appointments gave her her medicine. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that I'm able to make someone's day and able to assist them with their daily living, give their family that reassurance that they're in good hands and that I will take care of them as they are my own. My Personal Achievement that I'm proud of is that I'm the face they see as a caregiver to take care of them and they trust me.
I'm a great caregiver because I give quality care. I became a care giver because when my great grand mother was alive I provide care for her and I knew than at the age of 16 that this was the field I should be in. I enjoy being a caregiver because I like to take part in making someone feel well. My personal achievement is that I am able to put a smile on people face even when they are going through a rough time and that makes getting better a little easier when you have someone that cares
I'm a caregiver and I love what I do. Growing up I was not lucky enough to meet my grandparents that's why I'm very serious and I care so much when it comes to this. I always loved helping others in every way, just to know someone is depending on me and that I will never fail them. I learned so much workin with the elderly even when they are having a hard time or just a bad day. Many people are just here to do a job but I love going above and beyond interacting, having conversations, telling jokes making them smile as if they are my own family. I always provide the best care but I believe being a companion to them is what they need too.
