I have been doing Home Health Care for about 19 years now and nothing makes me happier. I love what I do and knowing that I am helping someone get through another day with the best care possible given is such a great feeling. Your family member becomes my family member and gets treated as such. I am reliable and willing to travel also. I do not have a busy schedule and am willing to work whenever you need me. I look forward to meeting you and your loved one asap. Amie
I became a CNA two years ago with the heart for helping people who have a hard time helping themselves, witch is something I am very compassionate about, I have worked in a long term care facility for a little over a year in that time I picked up on many different skills, for example how to redirect a Alzheimer's patient, what things I need to watch out for on stroke patients, how to treat and prevent bed sores, what types of things to watch out for with residents with diabetes, those are just a few of the many things that I have learned..I think the most important thing about what I do is learning about my patients, their likes and don't likes, their routines;witch is very important with patients with Alzheimer's, communication with the family and above all respect and trust..I love what I do and I am very compassionate about my job..
I'm a loving certified nursing assistant of 4 years..I treat my residents as if they were my own family..I enjoy listening to their stories and being a companion for them in their time of need. My caring and trustworthiness makes me a great caregiver .my most proud achievement is being a certified dementia practioner
I became a caregiver because I've always loved helping people. One of the things I love the most about being a caregiver is seeing how happy it makes the resident or patient when you help them or just when you say hi or just sit and listen to all their stories of their life. It's amazing how you can make such a big impact on someone by just doing any of those things. One of my achievements that I'm proud of is becoming a Cna. Also I'm a very caring person I love to help others I'm very pationate about what I do and I always give 110% when caring for a resident or patient.
I believe what makes me a great caregiver is I treat each of my clients as if they are my loved one in need of care. I became a Home Health Aide after my mom was diagnosed with MS and began losing her mobility, and i knew no one could possibly live up to her or my standards of care. My favorite part of my job is being able to help so many people maintain their independence so they can continue to live in their own home where they want to be. my biggest achievement to date would have to be finding my dream job, a HHA.
I have been a caregiver for 6 years. I cook, clean, take on outings, grocery shop, and much more. I have a clean driving record. I do not smoke. I am a Christian. I can pass a drug test. I am caring and compassionate. I have taken care of my dad. I have had a client that was disannauled of death from hospice.
