Hello everyone! I have been professionally caregiving for 9 years now. I have always cared for others from a young age, that's what led me to this field. I enjoy taking care of others and making them feel important, secure, heard and being able to be that positive light and comfort they look for in a companion. Nursing is a calling for me. Making sure that people receive the best possible care I am able to provide is my most important goal. Safety first always, compassion, dignity, privacy, respect and hope are all important attribute's that I find essential to good nursing care. It is a meaningful gratifying experience to know that I can add to someone's life and possibility bring goodness when health issues can be a challenge and so often depressing. Good nursing requires being completely present while in someone's home or in a facility. My standards are no cell phones while at work, no clock watching, and I always address people with respect by using MR.or Mrs. (last name) until I am encouraged otherwise. Using Mama or Papa and other terms of endearment are not appropriate for me personally in professional healthcare. What makes me a great caregiver? I treat the client as my own mother and father with most respect. I grew up wanted to be a nurse. I love listening and learning about their lives and their life experiences, That I've raised a five wonderful children and seen my grandchildren grown.

I am a very energetic, compassionate and reliable person, I took care both my parents and uncle for several years ( they are deceased now) I think I have the experience and dedication to work and care for seniors and help them to feel they are love. My mother was very sick with stroke problems and she was in bed for 2 years before she passed away, but I remember that even she could not talk nor move she appreciate that everyday I massage her legs and read to her.
