Hello! My name is Melissa. I absolutely Love caring for and helping people! Its very rewarding to me to make a difference in someone else's life. I am very sympathetic, empathetic, easy-tempered, patient, kind, loving, honest, dependable and very knowledgeable in Many areas of diagnoses. I have a Registered Nursing background and was an RN up north for many years. I left my career to take care of my Mother full time, who suffered from Alzheimer's Disease with dementia. When the time came to renew my license, I couldn't afford it and had to let it expire. Now, in order to get my license down here in FL, I have to obtain the money to pay for classes and re-licensure. This may take some time. In the meantime, I do have all the experience and knowledge of a Registered Nurse and have worked in Several different fields and with many different people. I would absolutely Love to have the oppertunity to care for you or your loved one! I am looking forward to hearing from you! Thank you so much and God Bless!

I've always enjoyed caregiving - for my younger siblings, my own children, and working with the disabled. I began caring for seniors with my elderly mother-in-law and it was deeply satisfying. I am a certified Home Health Aide working through an agency and am now an independent caregiver experienced in all ADLs, medications, transfer needs and dementia. I enjoy the broad range of activities - meal prep, transportation, personal care, medical needs, and one-on-one care allows for a greater level of care, understanding and empathy. Dependable and caring with excellent client references e.g. \"head and shoulder above other caregivers\", \"a godsend\" as well as recent drug test, background check.

I became a caregiver around 1979, always felt needed wanting to help the elderly people of all kinds. I enjoy being around people when it comes to helping the sick. I will be their for them if needed. You have to be patient understanding caring know their needs and provide lots of TLC. I took care of a elderly for 14 years, she was in a wheel chair when I met her. also a heavy drinker. Within that 14years of my caring for her I was able to help her family and the client to make a decision for the client to under go knee surgery. She was able to walk for 6 years which was joyful time for her. Few more years after that she was able to give up drinking with a little of my help. I was very happy to see this achievement. The family was proud to see this accomplishment and thank me for my assistance. This made me feel so happy and wonderful that I was able to be their for them. I am a understanding and caring person when I can help someone that needs my services I will be their.
