I am very caring and compassionate person who values familly. I'm a proud mother of four adult children and one teenager daughter whom I adopted when she was two years old. What attracted me to being a caregiver was my mother becoming ill. Although I live thousands of miles away at very short notice I was able to quickly arrange for my daughter and I to immediately travel to care for my mother. Caring for others brings me joy and great satisfaction. Over the past 20 years or so I have been called on by friends and others in my community to look after their parents, assiting with child care, providing transportation to doctors appointments , grocery shopping and house keeping services, etc. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is making others feel safe and important. One personal achievement that I am proud of is adopting my daughter. Being able to love and care for someone without exception or reservation and making them feel loved like family and safe.

I love in home care because it allows me to give one on one care. I have met so many different people that have brought joy to my heart like I hope I brought to theirs. I have been a CNA since 2007 after completing a health occupations course in high school. I have always had a passion for helping people and am truly blessed to have landed a wonderful career in healthcare as a radiologic technologist. I have done various caregiver jobs from hospital, in home and nursing home thought the years, especially while I was in college. The reward of being able to help those in need is a wonderful blessing. Life gets busy and sometimes we need an extra help from another person to help continue life. I'm very caring, loving and will go above and beyond to take care of your loved one. I've worked as an Administrator in Training Social Service Director, Dietary Manager all in long-term care. I have also been a business office manager in Psychiatry and was a Resident Assistant at an assistant living. Ever since I was young, I've always enjoy taking care of my grandparents weather I was painting toenails, shaving legs or giving a haircut or helping to house chores that were difficult for them. It always put a smile on my face. Not only do I enjoy helping others, but seeing the satisfaction of relief on their face on things that maybe difficult for them to complete or families with smiles that have stress relieved off of them is satisfying to me. I love what I do and I wouldn't do it any other way. With my experience, I have learned to be patient with others, listening to everyone, and think of all options or approaches before acting.
