I am very caring and compassionate person who values familly. I'm a proud mother of four adult children and one teenager daughter whom I adopted when she was two years old. What attracted me to being a caregiver was my mother becoming ill. Although I live thousands of miles away at very short notice I was able to quickly arrange for my daughter and I to immediately travel to care for my mother. Caring for others brings me joy and great satisfaction. Over the past 20 years or so I have been called on by friends and others in my community to look after their parents, assiting with child care, providing transportation to doctors appointments , grocery shopping and house keeping services, etc. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is making others feel safe and important. One personal achievement that I am proud of is adopting my daughter. Being able to love and care for someone without exception or reservation and making them feel loved like family and safe.
