Hello my name is Carmen Jackson, I have over 14 years of experience working with elderly clients and their families. I have many experiences in helping with daily activities, feeding, dressing, cleaning and I took care of my Grandma and Uncle, and father in their last days. I Love what i do and my main goal is to give everyone the same compassion and care as I did with my family members.

I am a caring soul, and often times find myself being an over achiever with absolutely no regret when it comes to those in my life. I lost my grandpa years ago and it was one of the hardest things for me. He resided in a nursing home that he wasn't getting the best care from. It broke me in every way possible. When we went to take him out, he was put on hospice the day of. We then lost him the day after. I became adamant and insisted on giving the best care in the healthcare setting. I started working in the nursing field, and refused to give anything less then my best effort. I strive to make families feel different than mine did. I go beyond expectation to make my patients feel loved, and taken care of.

I have been caring for my mother For the past 9 years, as well as working as an home health aid for the past 2 & a half years. I have a desire to ensure that those needing assistance in their home- receive it.

I became a caregiver almost 6 yrs ago after becoming a Medical Assistant. I have taken care of many different families and helped them with their parents needs. I have been a caregiver the past 6 years and I have grown to love caring for the elderly and thinking of them as my own family. I started out at 14 taking care of my grandfather and extended my health care experience from there. The thing I care about most when it comes to caring for my client is treating them as if it were one of my loved ones and getting the proper care they deserve! From the moment I graduated high school, all I have wanted to do is take care of people. I have 13 years experience as an EMT, 22 years experience working on homecare, 2 years experience in surgery, and 7 years experience in Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose, Throat specialty). I also have over 2 years experience teaching both the administrative and clinical sides of the Medical Assisting program. I love taking care of people and working independently. The satisfaction I feel knowing I made a difference in someone's life is invaluable to me. I love all of my career choices. Together, all of my experience has made me a very patient, knowledgeable, and well-rounded health care professional.

I became a caregiver because I adore the elderly. I have learned so much from them in the past 3 years. I just cannot get enough of them! I enjoy their company more then anyone else I am around. i love the stories they share, and hey always put a smile on my face. I love being a caregiver because I know I am great at my job, and I love doing it at the same time. I couldnt ask for a better job than this! I am so proud that I have grown into who I am today. I wouldnt be were I am at if it werent for my residents. They are all family to me!

Since 2013 I have been taking care of the elderly the sick The Young and the babies I have been making myself known for my career I can take my job very seriously I take care of my patients even better help sometimes I take for my pet care of my patients do that take care of myself that's pretty funny anyways meaning of taking care of somebody else's love one and taking care of somebody else's life means everything to me and I would do anything to make anybody smile so it's the fact that I have to take care of your person that makes my whole day.
