I am 48 years old and have the ability to provide daily/weekend care. I am a gregarious, patient and an easy going individual. I have always been drawn to service to others. I started services 28 years ago with the elderly, home bound and in
facilities. I later became a foster parent to high behavioral multiple diagnosis' teen girls and was
quite successful with the children I had.
Afterwards, I became a case manager overseeing
children in foster care and working directly with the biological parents in order to complete the needed changes on the plan of care to return the children.
During this time, I also worked with hoarders and was successful with these individuals. When the agency I was working for closed, I went to work as a Director of a residential and day service facility for adults with disabilities. Due to the owners of this facility not being in state, the license was not renewed and the company closed.
Continuing, I worked as a live in care coordinator for an adult until my services were no longer needed. I believe that the need to be needed is great within me. I care and communicate well in regards to all my clients and do whatever I can to give them the quality of life that they need and deserve. I take care of my client and their home. I make doctor's appointments, follow through with the family after those appointments, grocery shopping, medication set up and distribute, personal care, meals, all things that your family member may need and you know that I will take care of these things and take them off of your plate.
Over the last few years I have worked with several clients who had hip surgery or hip replacement. Through consistency and continuity of care, those clients were able to make full recoveries, good success with physical therapy and able to move forward with life while remaining in their home.

CPR certifield and listed on Missouri Family Registry. As a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and personal fitness trainer, I have a huge heart for taking care of others. This is the greatest gift that God has given me. I am incredibly compassionate, caring, encouraging, motivating, and attentive to detail.
I am a full time personal trainer and I own my own business but I thought of doing care-giving on the weekends when I am not training clients in order to help pay for a missions trip I am going on this summer to Africa.
I started working with an 88 year old female client this past year as an in home trainer. When she fell ill and ended up in the hospital, her family asked me to see her 7 days a week to do care-giving duties as well as physical therapy rehab. Her doctor told me that he did not think she would live through the process and was absolutely amazed when she recovered stronger than before. This has been, as a trainer, and as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, my greatest personal achievement in working with a client.
What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the relationship I form with both the client and their family members. I have such a heart for the elderly, as I have worked in many skilled nursing facilities doing physical therapy, and I have lost in the past few years, both my grandma and grandpa. I think that it really helps give a family peace of mind when they find a caregiver who is not only competent and capable of taking care of their loved ones, but also someone who truly cares about that persons' well being. I am truthful, loyal, compassion, and on time. Patience, quality of work, dependability, good reporting skills, communication, pleasant, good listener, observant, and caring. I don't bring personal problems to client's environment. Humble, able to work with tough clients. Always ready to learn, customize care to client and they my first priority. Treat my client as if they are your own family.
