My name is Jane I'm 54 years old. Recently retired from UPS in Naples Fl. I've been married for over 26 years had 2 children. I took care of my first born when he was diagnosed with Cancer until he passed away when he was 5. My daughter is 18 and attended Appalachian State. My husband works at Avery tire , retired as well after 30 years at his own shop. We are full time here in Avery County for about 5 years now. I've found my home here. As we have been coming here since 1997. Our son was diagnosed at Sloop Memorial in Crossnore which is now a Children's home. I love to garden and some wood working. I am a huge animal lover.

I have been a certified nurse assistant for almost 8 years and I love it. I never dread work and I always find myself smiling. I love caring for people and having them look at me with trust. I have 2 beautiful children who count on only me and they are also proud of what I do.

I've always enjoyed caring for the needs of others. Which started at a young age assisting family members with all different disease's/disorders . Also was a live in care giver to a lovely lady for 3yrs and at the age of 101 it was amazing to sit a listen to all of her life struggles and accomplishment's.
