To have a career that makes a difference in peoples lives. Meeting and interacting with individuals that you sometimes normally would not get the chance to. While working at a assisted living facility I performed CPR on an elderly woman who was choking during dinner. Afterwards she told me how thankful she was and her family wrote a letter stating how grateful they were. The company also expressed their gratitude for what I'd done. I am an understanding, kind, and fair person who does not mind helping people from different cultures and back rounds .That's just how I was raised.

I am a great caregiver because I am compassionate , kind and love what I do. I have been a caregiver for the last 20 years. My mother motivated me to get in this field ,as she had been diagnosed with lung cancer at the age of 65. Unfortunately she passed away at 67 , which will be 20 years this October.
