I have been in the health field for over 13+ years, I've worked at a nursing home throughout college. Went to LPN school (still have to sit boards) My most recent employer was a 74 year young lady with Parkinson's. I worked with her for 10 years. I was what she called her "Girl Friday" I did everything from medication reminders and dispensing, to hiring aides, payroll, care for her cats, ran errands, shopped for her, brought her to all appointments, Cooked for her, house cleaning, bathing, dressing, toileting and companionship ( we were incredibly close) I am a very dependable and reliable caregiver. I am kind, caring and considerate. I love taking care of the elderly. I can truly say I am good at what I do, and take enormous pride in my care.

I learned from the best my Mom I have over 20 years experience.. I treat my Pt like I would want my family treated regardless of race color or social standing. My Mom is what got me started in health care she ran a in home care agency. I love hearing stories and life events from my Pt. Hello, My name is DeAnna. I have been in the line of health care for 13 years, working in nursing homes as a state Certified Nurses Aide as well as in private homes as a Home Health Aide. I have worked with many various ailments both mental and physical. I specialize in rehabilitation, Alzheimer's/Dementia, and skilled nursing/hospice. I'm very active care giver. I love taking care of people that have needs. I have took care family/friends for a long time and i always wanted to continue helping people in needs. About 10 years ago, my great grandmother had a stroke and is now paralyzed completely on her left side. I took time to take care of her all throughout high school and still now. I would stay the night with her and get her up and ready in the morning before I went to school. Just this past year, my great grandpa found out that he had throat cancer. He currently has had a trachea port put in. With that being said, I have been with him and my great grandma taking care of her needs and taking care of him, cleaning the port and transporting them to and from their doctors appointments.

I love being a caregiver since I know I am helping people when they need it most. Caregiving is something that inspires me to give the best care I can and treat those as how I would like to be treated with kindness & care. I have found my calling and grateful to be able to do what I love.
