With that I have seen a lot & been taught by some amazing leaders. I go into each home with the attitude of this could be my Parent/ Grandparent, Treat them as how i would want my family cared for. My favorite thing about being a caregiver is the history of my patents. It brings so much joy to see them smile and relive there favorite memories of the past. I held my Certified Nursing assistant license for many years & only gave it up when I choose to not work in Nursing Homes. I keep up with all the latest training & have many certificates.

The care my grandfather received before passing with cancer is what inspired me to become a care aide. The girls were so passionate and became like family during his care. I've been an aide for over 10 years now. I started in Michigan as a CNA in an adult foster care home, did some facility work, tried home care, then found my employment with Promedica at the Goerlich Center which I absolutely love! I have experience in many aspects of the health field (tracheotomies, colostomies, feeding tubes, oxygen, etc).
