Families in Minnesota, FYI, just a heads up about the new Home care laws: Think twice before hiring a caregiver without the supervision of a licensed agency in Minnesota. The State of Minnesota requires any unlicensed direct caregivers (including Certified Nursing Assistants) to have a license...please be sure to check that this is in place prior to hiring them. I do have a CNA license. However I don't feel comfortable releasing the number online. I like being a caregiver mainly because I believe empathy is key to enjoying life.
