To me, taking care of someone isn't a job but it is a passion, a desire and a willingness to help others. It is always my mission to provide the best care and companionship to those I am with. I have been in this career field for over 15 years. I have a Medical Assistance Degree and a Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Management. (Both from Herzing University) I am a Mother and Wife and enjoy spending time with my Family when I am not working. I am very outgoing, determined and have a positive mindset.

I am a 22 year old man, who graduated high school and went to college for exercise science at Bloomsburg U, but unfortunately I failed out. I like to exercise and train kickboxing. I got into the home health field for a family friend and saw it as a great opportunity to do something I like for pay. I like to help the less fortunate in health. I've done a 5k and continue to challenge myself with physical tests.

I am 23 years old and I am from Puerto Rico. Something that I really liked about this profession is being able to care, support and connect with patients. I consider myself an excellent caregiver since I offer love and commitment to the tasks that I carry out with each patient. I am kind, responsible and extremely respectful.

As a person who took care of her grandmother, I am very compassionate. I understand that they are old and fragile and need love. I am a very patient in general and even more as a caregiver. This job is caught my eye because I love taking care of people. I am the youngest in the family so it was them who always took care of me and as I grew older, I found myself wanting to take care of other people and family members like my family took care of me. I love making people that I take care of make their problems go away even just temporarily. I love making them happy and forget their problems. I love affecting people's lives positively. I took care of my grandmother growing up. When I used to live in the Philippines, she was one of the people that raised me. I moved to the US and had to leave her but I promised myself that I will get her to come here one day. Finally, I got her a Visa and she got to see the United States and got to take care of her like she took care or me. She was with me for 2 years and I had to stop college so I can take care of her. I have no regrets, I loved every single moment we spent together. She was 82 when she came here, I had to bathe her, change her clothes, make food for her and help her get to bed. She has rheumatoid arthritis in her knees so it was very hard for her to walk so I had to escort her wherever she went. She was also showing signs of Dementia. Even though we talked about the same things over and over again, I would go back a thousand times just so I can see and take care of her again. Her Visa expired and had to go back to the Philippines. She is 87 years old now. Whenever I talk to her, she would never fail to thank me for taking care of her.

I'm very loving and caring when it comes to my clients.I am able to handle multiple tasks on a daily basis. I use a creative approach to problem solve. I am a dependable person who is great at time management. I am always energetic and eager to learn new skills. I have experience working as part of a team and individually.

I started by being caring at heart. I started taking care of my grandmother at the age of 15, I found out later that i can make a career in this field of practice. My grandmother paid for my schooling and i've been in this field for 10+ years now. I enjoy helping others. A personal achievement i am so proud of is still having the love and heart to work in this field. I really enjoy my career!
