I started out by being a preschool teacher in my late teens and twenty's because I wanted to make a difference in a little child's life including my own children and just realized that it would also be great if I could expend my ability to care for not only children but older people in need as well. I enjoy being able to help. A personal achievement I am proud of is completing the 90hr course for being a head teacher in a daycare. Also the greatest achievement that I am currently working on is being a mom to my three awesome children

I have a keen sense of being aware of when a person is in need ... whether it be needing a drink/food, companionship, or not feeling well. I am a nurturer by nature and being a caregiver is rewarding for me in more than just monetary. In any job/career I have held in the past, I have been praised on my personal communication skills with others.

Hi, my name is Kierra and I have been a caregiver for 3 years, but don't let my short time being a caregiver fool you. I am an EXCELLENT caregiver! I am a patient, trustworthy, dependable, empathetic, diligent caregiver. I love caregiving, my favorite part is making my clients happy, and reminding them that they still have a purpose and are needed. I truly believe that the amount of good, quality care that is given, plays a huge role in the healing process, and keeps those we love with us longer. One day I want to be a geriatrics nurse. In Colorado I went to school and finished my CNA course with a 4.0 GPA. I will be starting online schooling to get my general courses out of the way so when I go to nursing school I won't have so much on my plate. Anyway, that's a little bit about me!
