Hello, Although I have a degree/career in the operating room assisting surgeons with surgeries..........I have found my passion in making a tremendous difference in the quality & care of one's life by caregiving and nursing career. My grandparents played a tremendous role in my life (whom I also cared for at the end of their long lives) and I have always been very comfortable & fond of elderly, and geriatric people. I have found it to be an absolute joyful and rewarding experience to be a caregiver & nurse. We are called to take good care of the Widowed & Orphaned. My passion and love for them are evident. I enjoy helping others. I am friendly yet professional, caring, honest, dependable, I have integrity. I believe that everyone deserves dignity in their care and I believe that family caregivers also need breaks. It doesn't make one weak to ask for help it makes you stronger. It is an opportunity to recharge your batteries. Caring for children with special needs can also be very taxing on the family unit and they need that moment to recharge. I became a CNA/HHA at age 17.I have always wanted to work in the medical field to help others.I have worked in several facilities as a caregiver working my way to become a med.tech,supervisor and cottage manager.I have worked for a number of families as well.Most recently, i cared for my mother for a period of 5 years+, untill her death at age 95 on 11/11/15.
