I am a certified CNA with the state of Arkansas and I have been a certified nurse's aid for most of my adult life I have worked in a nursing home setting as well as some Home Health and private care with with patients that have a wide variety of needs and my involvement with daily living from total dependency to just being there for respite care. When you love taking care of people and it's a blessing to want to do it, because some elderly people don't have family and you willing to step in and help.. God will bless you. You have to treat people the way you want to be treat.. One day we going to get old and we need the help. I worked in a busy post-surgical ward in a hospital setting for 17 years and have since found home healthcare incredibly rewarding. I have ample experience in assisting with post-orthopedic surgical patients, ambulation, dressing, bathing, toileting, catheter care, ostomy care, checking blood glucose levels, and vital signs. I spent over a year assisting a hemiplegic stroke patient I thoroughly enjoy helping others live how they wish to live.
