Hello! I take pride in what I do because I genuinely care about the well-being and comfort of all of my patients. I am very confident in my work ethic, mainly because of all the years of experience I have. I've worked at multiple nursing homes, starting back in 2016. The most important thing to me is building long-lasting relationships with my patients and their families. A little background information about me is I am a Certified Nursing Assistant and also CPR & First Aid Certified. I am so also OSHA certified by the state of Connecticut. I'm a non-smoker, and I am fully vaccinated and boosted. I'm friendly, caring, responsible, reliable, fun, and people-oriented. I have plenty of experience, as I have previous working history in home-care and nursing homes. My help would direct to, but not limited to, household chores/cleanup, meal preparation, companionship, medication reminders, help with daily activities, grooming, car transportation, grocery shopping, running errands, etc. I understand how important it is for families to feel secure and safe when selecting the right caregiver for their specific family needs, and I am confident I will be a great fit. Let me know if this sounds like a fit for you and your family, and we can discuss further!

I feel I am a great caregiver because I care about the person as a whole and do not treat them as an object. Also, in almost 25 years I have a wide variety of experiences in a variety of settings. I have taken care of all age groups and have enjoyed all of it for various reasons. I began 5 years after my mother had passed and I had assisted in her care. My training began after leaving the printing industry. Now, I have come to a pinnacle and am attempting nursing school.

I started out in the past as a Certified Nursing Assistant. My experience is working in homecare one on one with clients. I have always enjoyed helping those in need and get great satisfaction from making someone's day providing them with stability and a safe comfortable environment. I go above and beyond in making sure clients are taking care of and comfortable. I feel you should treat the client how you want someone to treat your family member. Respect, being patient is very important also. I'm reliable and always want the best for my clients. My interest in homecare came from promising my grandparents that I would never let go in a nursing. I feel you should be able to stay in your own home and get care as long as possible. One of my personal achievements was me starting a business in retail.

My level of expertise is like no other; Effortlessly, I always go above and beyond for my clients. Ever since the age of five years old when my Mom asked me what I wanted to become and my answer was "Mom, I want to be a Doctor because I want to take care of old people and I love them" and of course she laughed. Years later I ended up in numerous occupations, but at the end I found my way back to nursing (smile)- Need I say more? It gives me great pleasure to listen to the elderly. Moreover, their stories are precious and rare each unique experience that "cannot" be replaced (priceless commodity) and most importantly the joy and knowledge it gives me deep within (humbled). Looking back on all my choices I can honestly say that I have no regrets; Especially, since it has mold my life and made me who I am today. My mother would have been proud of me when I achieved my licensed (CNA) and knowing that it does not stop there since I was already enrolled in a nursing program in College and eventually I will go back since I took a long break after she passed. In conclusion, I love what I do and work for me is (never) work since my passion is caring for the elderly (smile)-

I've been an active caregiver for the past 15 years or so, both as a live-in and live-out caregiver. Most of my working experience comes from outside of the US. I started working as a caregiver because needed a job and earn money(do not let yourself fooled by anyone that says otherwise ) and as a single mom of three you can guess that i had no choice in choosing what i considered at that time that i would like. During the years i earned so much more than money. I started out with a job and ended up with having more and more family members as each and one of the patients that i assisted become in some way my mother/father, my daughter/son and a challenge to build up my empathic skills . Ended up understanding that caregiving is not a JOB although it's paid. You treat not just people but a very fragile class of people. They definitely need our assistance in daily chores but that is not enough , they need somebody that does not define them only trough their disability. Caregiving it's not just about taking care of a body it is a 360 degree assistance which consider the person in a holistic way (body, mind and spirit) As a caregiver i might fail in some chores(nobody is perfect) but one thing that i am proud of is that as much as i could i tried to bring joy. Hard but necessary was when I had to assist patients in an point where life comes to an end. In some cases I sing their favourite song, hold a hand, give a caress to the person in need and explain to family members that it is perfectly normal to be scared or to suffer and to assure them that they are not alone.
