What i like the most about caregiving is the ability to treat those as I would want myself to be treated in time of need. I find that with compassion, good listening skills and trying to understand and empathize with my clients not only does my client feel loved but learn that they can work towards a goal, increase their independance or have one that will help meet my clients needs . I find it extremely rewarding personally and always find new friends and family along this path.

I am a licensed emergency medical technician and certified paramedic, and strive to provide the highest care to those in need and have made it my life passion. I have many years of experience in emergency medicine as well as caring for others weather professional or personal. I had two grandmothers and a grandfather that had many ailments to include: stroke, Alzheimer's, cancer, and dementia. I was present and provided most of their palliative care prior to their passing. This included everything from companionship to ADLs to BLS care. I am trustworthy, hard-working, and extremely compassionate and love to be able to provide my assistance and care to anyone who needs it.

I have been in health care since 1998. I spent 24 years working with the elderly, IDD, autistic children, elementary education and mental health. I love people of all ages and it does not matter if they have a disability or not. I love conversations with people, getting to know things about them. One of my greatest achievements was helping an individual reach a goal that seemed unachievable.

Hi there! A little about me. I'm friendly, compassionate, and easy to get along with. I recently relocated from MD after 18 years as a Medical Assistant with the same practice. I am interested in working with families on a more one on one basis. Caring for and helping people is something that comes naturally to me. My care giver experience started with house cleaning when a friend asked if I knew anyone that might be interested in cleaning his parent's house. At the time I was interested in making some extra income and offered to give it a try. I realized I had a real knack for cleaning and enjoyed the feeling of a job well done. This continued for 10 years until sadly both his parents passed. My main responsibility was keeping the house organized and clean which I did with superb attention to detail. I later helped with other things such as medication reminders and blood pressure checks. My FT career as a Medical Assistant for a Urologist was an asset for me to help with other aspects of care. I have also had experience caring for my Father when he entered Hospice. This was an experience that I feel honored to have been a part of albeit one of the most difficult too. My personality I'm told is friendly and quick witted. I do have a sense of humor which is a quality that is beneficial when working in health care.
