I became a care giver after my husband became ill with cancer. The treatment he got in the hospital and hospice makes me sick to my stomach. Especially the way some nurses spoke to him. I then decided to become a CNA so I can help him and the other patients who really need proper care. To treat every one of my patients the way I would like to be treated if and when I get sick. Other words treat them the way I want to be treated. My personal achievement that I'm proud off is right after giving my client his bath on 10/28/14, he hold my hand and told me thank you for everything, and I love you then took his last breath. That told me for the five years I was taking care of him I was doing a good job. My name Jenette, I've been a CNA for 19 years. Worked at Lincoln Hospital in NY as a PCT for 5 years. Moved from NY to Atlanta GA where I've worked as a CNA or Home Health Aid for 12 years. I love my job very much. Taking care of the sick is what I do, and I do it to the best of my knowledge.

I have been a CNA for 6 years with experience in all different areas. I am compassionate, loveavle, and caring. I always treat my patients/clients as top priority. I became a caregiver because I've always wanted to help others. Especially when my grandma got diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease it made me want to work with patients with that disease even more. I am 52yrs old, happily married. My husband and I have a total of 10 children (blended family) I started of in the healthcare field by doing volunteer work at a local hospital in my hometown when I was 12 yrs old. At the age of 16 I became a CNA. Later in life I attended college, majoring as Respiratory Therapist. My personal achievement that I'm proud of is, loving and helping others.
