I genuinely care about others, no matter the age. Outside of my wishes of being a medical assistant, I wanted to be a caregiver because I would have one-on-one time with the person. This desire of mine grew as I started working for Clark Lindsey. As a waitress, I get to know the residents to an extent. The reason I joined Synergy (home health care), was to be a companion to residents that may not have that or any type of care as they used to. Knowing that they don't get to see their loved ones as much as they want to, I feel even closer to them because I feel like I can be that person for them-someone who is close to them, cares for them, provides safety, and to really listen and have interest in them. For the client that I currently have as well as others in the past, I learn a lot of life experiences from them and I love to see their eyes light up when they tell me parts of their past as if they are reliving it again and again. Lastly, my personal achievements that I'm proud of happens at Clark Lindsey and with a client I used to have. At Clark Lindsey, when residents would come up to me (when I'm working, or just visiting) telling me that they always enjoy seeing me, always makes my day. Also, recently with a client, I aided in the recovery of one walking again. Even though, I don't see him anymore, I'm happy that he is with his wife and truly happy.

Iam one person that does this job not only for money but its a blessing that iam able to do what God blessed me in doing and I enjoy what I do and thank all families that trust me with there loved ones.

I love being able to give back and help someone that is not able to care for themselves or there family.One thing I am currently in the process of achieving is getting my Associates degree. I love people and I am very outgoing and dependable.

I'm very compassionate when it comes to taking care of my patient's and I'm an excellent listener. I have been in the health career for fifteen years and I'm currently in the nursing program at Richland Community College to become an RN. I would like to help someone in there home that needs help with activities of daily living because I feel it's important to manage care at home, where they feel the most comfortable. I enjoy the compassion it takes to be a good caregiver and I enjoy helping others. My personal achievement that I'm proud of is I continue to love the nursing field and I love the opportunity to be able to grow and learn different areas of nursing and home care is one that I feel I will enjoy as well.

Hi my name is Jennifer and I have always enjoyed taking care of people in one fashion or another. I became a CNA in 1993 in NC and worked in many different venues ie; Ltc facilities hospitals , home health and agency. The medical field always has fascinated me so here I am almost 30 years still involved in it. I have also work as a customer service representative so I never ventured far from dealing with people. If I can impact a person's life by helping in a small way then I have served my purpose for that given day. One of my hardest experiences I have ever endured was when I took care of my Mom when she was given a terminal diagnosis of cancer. That in itself showed me that my job as a caregiver is always needed desperately.

Hi! I've been a CNA since 2016, workin in multiple nursin homes and assistant living facilities. Been workin as an in home caregiver for about 2 1/2 yrs. I love in home care because it allows me to give one on one care. I have met so many different people that have brought joy to my heart like I hope I brought to theirs. I'm very caring, loving and will go above and beyond to take care of your loved one. I've worked as an Administrator in Training Social Service Director, Dietary Manager all in long-term care. I have also been a business office manager in Psychiatry and was a Resident Assistant at an assistant living. Ever since I was young, I've always enjoy taking care of my grandparents weather I was painting toenails, shaving legs or giving a haircut or helping to house chores that were difficult for them. It always put a smile on my face. Not only do I enjoy helping others, but seeing the satisfaction of relief on their face on things that maybe difficult for them to complete or families with smiles that have stress relieved off of them is satisfying to me. I love what I do and I wouldn't do it any other way. With my experience, I have learned to be patient with others, listening to everyone, and think of all options or approaches before acting.

Because I am a very compassionate person, patient and fine seniors and elderly people very interesting to spin time with, the thaught of being able to help someone that truly appreciate the help we give. Being able to say I've spent 30s years taking care of older people and have enjoyed every bit of it. Whatever job I held in taking care of seniors and elderly persons I committed myself and gave a 100% to my job.
