Hello my name is Charisse I have been a caregiver for 20 years. This is the only field I know and ever wanted to be apart of I love helping people and be apart of someone day I have worked in nursing homes rehab also have hospice experience highly trained and still learning I have a very caring loving heart I am compassionate and understanding no kids at home so I am very dependable with reliable transportation and the training needed to care for all clients

I am an outgoing, friendly, and caring person. I have lost family members and I decided I wanted to take care of other people. I got into caregiving in 2017 and fell in love. I am very thorough and organized. I love my job. I have went on vacation with a client and their family to provide care in April of 2021.

I am a 26 year old Woman and I have been working in this field for five years now. I am experienced from home health, nursing homes, and assisted living. I have experience with all different kinds of clients and residents. I have two children and I am going to be attending nursing school to farther in my career and this upcoming year. I have two children and was raised mostly by my grandparents so I take pride in making sure people are taken care of and treated the way I would want them to be. I chose this career because I truly love helping and caring for people.

I am a dependable, always on time, trustworthy person. Your loved one and their belongings are safe with me. Having worked in the care giving industry since 1997 I have worked in a number of settings. I found great pleasure in home health providing personal care, cleaning, cooking, transportation and post surgery rehabilitation. MRDD clients were taught good hygiene, cooking, socializing, bus riding and best of all reading. And as a nanny I had the joy of infant care, teaching, and loving children. I am ready to return to caring for seniors. I am a senior and have a very good understanding of their needs.

As a young teenager at the age of 15 I attended Roger Bacon High school.A mandatory community service was in the curriculum ,I chose to do my community service at an retirement home that my great grandmother resided.My great grandmother was a chronic diabetic who had to get both her legs amputated .Since a young teenager I've always had a soft heart a big heart for others I believe in doing good to others and for others whenever possible.Im very compassionate and all about "how would you want your family member to be treated ".It became my goal to become the best caregiver ,nurse and business owner I could be.I visited my great grandmother after that everyday seeing the lack of care and comfort my grandmother received stuck in my heart to do better when I was able to.As i got older more of family members suffered and passed on from I did that for 5 years and created unimaginable bonds. I than went to college graduated and became a LPN(licensed Pratical Nurse) worked with a variety of families with an extensive list of job performances.I enjoy the bonds you create with the families and clients,I've also learned a great deal of new things through these bonds Im not just the teacher Im also the student at times which i greatly admire. I than went on to start my own private non medical homecare agency. Longterm Family were we believe in affordable and quality care.

What makes me a good caregiver I'm always on time I respect my clients I make my clients happy and I make sure they are healthy and I provide all your needs and I love helping people what made me come and caregiver I took care of my grandma when my father passed away the things that I like about my job I love seeing my clients with a smile on my face and happy and knowing that they are confident that I am there for them all my clients family love what I do for my clients because they know I am there to provide assistance for them I was Employee of the Month for saving a client's life in the swimming pool and coming on time and I always picking up shifts

My passion for helping others led me into healthcare at a young age. One of my first jobs was in a nursing facility and I loved it. Caregiving feeds my soul. Every smile is a daily reminder of how rewarding my work is. I am a very bubbly, fun, and hardworking individual. Providing companionship and conversation is a must in a caregiver/patient relationship. I have great attention to detail and I'm also a fast learner. I have many years of experience to utilize, but I want to learn what methods my patient is comfortable with. I always ask questions so I'm satisfied that my patient is satisfied. I have experience with dementia/Alzheimers, cancer/chemotherapy recovery, terminal/end stage diseases, hospice care, COPD, mental health disorders, and common geriatric issues. Although most of my experience has been in nursing facilities, I recently provided hospice care for my late father. That experience has driven me to want to help others transition their loved ones with the same peace of mind that my family had with my father.

I love helping others, always have. It doesn't matter what I am doing I always manage to help. I have been a CNA/ HHA for 19 years and bothing brings me more joy. I have worked in long term care facilities, assisted living homes and in the homes of my patients. I am flexible, understanding and ready to help.

I have always enjoyed helping and taking care of people whether it is total care or just assisting with their daily activities. I am compassionate and patient which are two important traits when you're working in this field. Anything I can do to help improve someone's quality of life is rewarding at the end of the day. I am very blessed that I was able to take care of my parents and helped them live and die with dignity and this is also my goal for my clients. Whether it's doing a puzzle or just listening to stories, it's all worth the time.
