I majored in Medical Assistance at Blue Cliff College and completed externship at St Charles Community Health Center - Norco, LA July 2017 - August 2017 I was trained to Execute general office duties: greet patients, triage, and update patients charts using the EHR system. Assisted physicians with patient examinations, and explained treatment procedures to patients. Completed lab orders, diagnostic testing, collect lab specimens, administered injections, assisted with follow-up calls, faxed documents and venipunctures. Also, ensured exam rooms were cleaned and stocked.

I am an outgoing, loving person. I have been in the healthcare field for over 3 years. As I have been traveling and working with agencies, I have experienced all types of patients from telemetry to neuro. I love what I do. My name is Sandra Lee, I'm 64 years old. I have a outgoing personality, I'm an encourager, I love to read books, watch old movies, attend bible study and church services, visiting the elderly in Hospitals, Nursing Homes, there Homes, and other facilities; praying with and for them, giving token gifts. I have cared for my disabled daughter since birth (July 15, 1986, until her death on December 15, 2020). I also assist my sister in caring for my disabled mother who's 84 years soon to be 85 on December 2. I enjoy listening to the elderly adults talk about their family and friends, personal hygiene, cleaning, and interacting with the clients. My personal achievement is being an Ordained Elder and now looking to provide care for elderly adults (21 and older) in my home own through Day and Respite, starting January 2022. The Day Care Days would be three days a week (M/W/F - 7am-5pm or 8am-6pm) and the Respite Care would be a three day weekend (Fri.-Sun); Five days (M-F); Seven days (M-Sun); or Thirty (30) days. Respite would be provided every other week (Example: 1st and 3rd or (2nd and 4th), except for 30 days. Since my daughter passed away, I would like to work from my home and provide these services. I could only do 3 persons per day care days, and 2 persons per respite care. Prefer clients that do no require the use of a Hoyer Lift.

I'm great at transporting clients to all doctor's appointments and errands needed. I have references available from family members of clients whom I have cared for. I am passionate about my work and take others lives very seriously while they're in my hands whether critical or just as a companion. I love doing this type of work as it has always been a passion of mine. I go above and beyond my best to provide excellent care. I feel I'm a great companion due to my love for not only caregiving, but just to make a new friend, have great conversations, and to put a smile on the face of the one I'm caring for.
