I have studied to become a well qualified caregiver, CNA/HHA- LPN Certificate physical therapy Aide. I enjoy the opportunity to impact a difference In someone life ,If I can make someone's smile to forget their problems then my day was not wasted.

Why did I become a caregiver you ask. Growing up I always was around the older women in my family. I loved listening to all the old stories. When my grandma got sick I watched how her CNA will just come in and do her anyway. It break my heart. As I got older the love got stronger for elderly. The best part of being a caregiver is knowing that your able to help someone when they need you the most. I'm a young woman with a bright future ahead of me. I became a caregiver because I really want to help old people and younger kids who in need of help. And I do like it because it gives me peace and freedom. I love this job I managed to support my family, within the five-year of experience, i have been working with an agency for all my five-year and every one like my service.

My interest in assisting senior adults began at 19 in my church. And even earlier, I had a deep love for my grandmother. I saw that I could truly help them. The interaction of youth and maturity was fascinating. Of course, the blessing came in the serving, and enlisting others in the serving. Gaining the trust of so many seniors. I believe in personal freedoms, honesty, respect, and fairness. I know that all of us are terminal. I know that 'love' is the strongest thing in the world, and must be used more. I can be be a strong advocate for my friends. I love many animals, (esp. dogs), classic rock, exercise, and scanning magazine articles. I am a news 'junkie'.

I never know what to write when it comes to this part. Most people say I'm happy go lucky, I have a quirky sense of humour. I guess I would have to my step mom introduced me to the field, She was a nurse in a long term care facility, they were short handed and needed help. Needless to say I was very young and didn't last long. As I got older and became a single parent I needed work and it just seemed like the natural thing to do, to become a caregiver to others outside of my children. I believe my greatest joy in doing this job is helping others and making a difference in their lives, even if it's just making a snack or a meal, or shaving a face or combing hair. Sometimes is the smallest thing that make the biggest difference for someone. I would have to saY my personal achievement I'm most proud of is raising my children alone to adulthood, to be respectful, productive adults. Now helping to raise my youngest grandson.

I have been in this field for many years, I am extremely patient, emphatic, compassionate and caring. I am very flexible, and have great time management and communication skills. I like to believe things come full circle, treat and care for one as you may need this assistance at some point in your life I have many years experience with a multitude of Health issues, I have worked very closely with Hospice and VNA Nurses , cared for Parkinson, Dementia, Supra Nucleous Palsy as well as other Related care as well..
