I have been a caregiver in many ways my whole life. As the eldest child in my family, I was usually left in charge of many things as the adults managed larger projects. As I got older, I played sports and college prep classes, I learned organization, time management and team building. In college and my earlier adult work life, I worked in hospitality, childcare and medical assistant skills that have lead me to more in depth paths of caregiving. I have client I make special sandwich's to make him happy. So when he doesn't eat the staff let's me know and I can go cook and he will eat. This makes me proud. He doesn't like many but he likes me.
