I'm attentive and respond to situations in a timely manner. I became a caregiver because of my great grandmother I would always see and meet caregivers coming to her house and I realized how much they helped her. I enjoy that I can meet new people and different personalities and learn their stories of life. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is getting my mom to walk again after being bed ridden for 4 years due to neuropathy. I started by building her confidence and and replacing her negative mindset and fears with positivity and hope. She was so happy when she finally walked on her own again. Now she is up and moving like never before. And the happiest I've ever seen her.

At age 10 I started babysitting, by age 14 I had to help my mom care for my step father whom was a quadriplegic. That's when I knew caregiving/ care partnering was/is my passion and calling.
