I have worked in the medical field as CNA in a hospital setting and nursing home setting for almost 10 yrs.. I enjoy taking care of people's loved ones, making them feel comfortable and cared for. I'm 46 years old. I been married 19 years and have a 18 year old son who just graduated this year. I personally love being a caregiver. I've done it on and off for about 10 years now. I've always liked to help people and have customer service jobs but at the same time I knew I wanted to do more, so one day I was offered to be a caregiver and I accepted it and have loved it since. I was a private caregiver for almost a year and not to long after that I become a private caregiver for another lady for about the same time. I did get out of it for a little bit because when they passed away it was hard on me and I had to find away to deal with it because I knew in my heart it was what I was suppose to do and that's what brought me to Carelinx . I was working in a nursing home and I felt some people feel better with one on one care,and being home They can get that. I love be able to help with everyday needs,and learning more about elders life. Two years ago I took over my family business and started taking care of more people. I have been doing private nursing for 25 years,and really enjoy it,I cant see me doing anything else.

First of all, I always go into a home knowing that I will be making a wonderful friend. I love the elderly; I love their different personalities and all their "Life" stories. It gives my heart great joy to be able to make them smile. It is the most rewarding thing I have ever done.

I've been told I'm very bubbly, but my patients have always loved my youthfulness. I am a very patient, compassionate, down to earth person. I have a big heart and love to love! I started taking care of my grandmother when I was 17. She had Alzheimer's. That is where I found my passion of taking care of the elderly. I can't imagine doing anything else and one day plan to become a nurse. I always give my patients the respect and care they deserve.

I have experience working in facilities as a PCA and Med Tech. I have worked with the terminally ill, hospice, disabilities, smokers and more. I am extremely dedicated to my residents, making sure they are comfortable and happy with their care at all times. I love what I do because I get joy in helping the elderly.
