Traits that make me a great caregiver would be that I have a huge heart an will help anyone I possibly can. The thing that made me want to be a caregiver is I have always wanted to help others. I look at clients I care for like family an I wouldn't want my family not well taken care of . I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is that I can be the help they need I can help them do daily living activities an I can brighten their day . I've been a caregiver for 7 years. I started out in a nursing home, taking my CNA/STNA classes and remaimed there for 5 years. I've done home health off and on as needed. I love what I do because I get to help and care for others. This profession is very rewarding for me and teaches you many new things such as patience, time management and many many other things. I love all the stories I get to hear from clients about there pasts, and it's also great meeting new people.
