At the age of 14 I worked an an intern in a nursing home in order to be able to further help care of my great grandmother . Growing up and having the opportunity to care for my grandparents opened my eyes to what every aging and sick loved one go through.Being a health caregiver for the six years now has given me a lot of experience to do what I have passion for. The smile on my patient or clients 's face each day is my driving motivation. A few months ago I worked into my client's house and perceived a strong smell of gas which apparently she did not smell, quickly took her out of the house and call the gas company and emergency technicians. A broken gas pipe was identified and the whole block of houses were deemed high risk for explosion. Residents were evacuated for four days. I not only saved my client's life but that of all her neighbors. I am a very professional, hardworking, and compassionate person.
