Caregiving has been my passion started at junior school my best friend and deskmate had diabetes which was not common in communities there was stigma he spent his time alone as other children were afraid to be associated with him he later died at age of 12 years felt that I could have done better I know enjoy taking care of needy and saving life I like when I manage to save n make any human happy again

I moved in Seattle in 2004 and lived with my uncle and his family that were managing an Adult Family Home and cared for elderly. I soon started to help and became more confident in my abilities. After 8 months i received my first job . At 24 years old i felt proud, i was dependable, i was also a young mother and knew that i was responsable for the safety and wellbeing of six seniors. I understood the responsability but also observed the way it feels to me. I was completely fulfilled and after 14 years in caregiving i know this is what i love to do since i never considered a change in profession that will bring me more joy and be a better fit for my personality. Caring for seniors in the comunity is to me such a an honor and privelage.

I am patient , take time and listen to my patient's needs, I am experienced working with elderly and sick patients needing total care. In our culture we value older adults respect and cherish them. They are full of knowledge and experiences in their life time. Being from another country I feel honored to hold a conversation with my patients. It is rewarding to provide care for vulnerable adults who really needs it at the time when they are really sick. I am proud of my job , I am lucky to be here and have the opportunity to work and make a living for myself. My family is also my motivation to do good everyday .
