I am a joyful optimist. I am attentive, trustworthy and dependable. I appreciate the opportunity to provide patient, tender hearted care to vulnerable aging people. I have chosen to become a caregiver because I desire meaningful employment. I enjoy being a strong source of support and encouragement to individuals and families in need. Perhaps my most gratifying acheivements as a caregiver have been the ability to provide exceptional palliative care to elderly patients and emotional support to their loved ones.

I am personable and enjoy being a home care provider. I became a caregiver because I wanted to help others by assisting them with their activities of daily living. I enjoyed caring for many seniors over the years and learned quite a lot from them. I believe I'm a great caregiver because I have had extensive training in a skilled nursing facility as well as in many private homes. I also enjoy seeing the difference that I often make in people's lives. I became a nursing assistant back in 1982 and acquired my Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license at the convalescent hospital where I worked. I then went on to work for several home care agencies and acquired my Certified Home HeaIth Aide (CHHA) license. I have worked as an independent contractor caregiver for years. Compassion and diligence are two things that I pride myself in when referring to my role as a nurse. Being a caregiver comes naturally as I am a mother and nursing was something I always wanted to pursue. Improving someones quality of life gives me a sense of fulfillment that is unlike any other profession.
