I have been working for Partners In Care in Grass Valley, working both in home health and at the assisted living facility Eskaton since the beginning of this year. I have worked as a babysitter and nanny, caring for children for several years. I am currently in my final year of a Physical Therapist Assistant program and will be beginning my internships this month. I have the skills necessary to transfer, ambulate with, and bathe seniors in a safe manner. I am very compassionate and wiling to do the extra work to assure safety and to provide a comfortable and positive environment for those I am working with. I am CPR certified. I used to have my Wilderness EMT certification and was a ski patroller. I feel that I can handle emergency situations well. I am passionate about doing the best I can to make the lives of those around me a little bit better. I became a caregiver because I truly enjoy working closely with the elderly and those who are unable to care for themselves. I enjoy being able to assist in making the lives of the elderly a much happier enjoyable time. I love being able to spend time and put smiles on their faces at the end of my day with them. I have been recognized through my last employer for my outstanding job in providing care and making myself available when necessary. A little something about me, I am 38 years old I have a 13year old daughter. I am an extremely dedicated individual who is always on time and will never not follow through when I've made a commitment to doing something.
