Licensed Kansas CNA training took care of my ex's father for 5 years he was diabetic and had kidney failure so was on dialysis and was a double amputee. That is actually what started my journey to be a caregiver. I enjoy that feeling of accomplishment by helping others in need. I'm proud of taking care of my ex's father for 5 years and that he stayed in my home till the day he passed away I took care of him.

I have been working as a caregiver since 2002 intermittently. I have worked in nursing homes and in home non medical care settings , I have had previous Certification Nurse Aide License ( currently expired ) as well as basic first aide training certified also (expired ) , and CPR training. . I'm pretty easy going , I get along well with others, I work well with others, I am polite, respectful, friendly and accountable for my actions and my choices. I am outspoken, compassionate, I am reliable, i have funny sense of humor, I'm honest , I'm dedicated and if I don't understand how to something I will ask for help. I believe I am more of a hands on learner than I am to sit and read or watch how to do it . I do tend get a bit nervous around new people so I tend to start talking or rambling on as my kids would say, but it's not ever been a serious issue in my work environment. I also like to work more efficiently and thoroughly meaning slower in actual reality, rather than having to hurry up or rush, I know it probably takes more time to do it that way but it saves from injuries or accidents that could happen when rushing . I became a caregiver because I love helping others in need and if I can help make someone's else's day a little bit better by making them breakfast or changing their clothes or just being their to listen when they want talk, then I have done something good and that makes me feel good . I have raised three children who have all graduated high school and either working full time jobs or in college , I think that is my biggest achievement . I love the joy it gives those in need when I can help them with regular daily activities.

Im a very hard working, caring and compassionate person. I go above and beyond peoples expectations without being asked. I like to work hard, and naturally I care about other people. I like the flexibility caregiving has to offer as well as getting to meet new people in a small comfortable environment of their own home.
