I grew up with a huge family, my mother was a Foster care provider, my dad was a Chief Fireman, I am the youngest of 8children, I grew up watching my mom take care of handicapped children my entire life, I always loved seeing how happy it made her to be able to help someone, even if it were just by giving that child love, I've grown to follow her footsteps and I just love being able to help someone if I can, even if can't make them better health wise, I can help them feel better emotionally, everyone deserves the BEST CARE POSSIBLE, that's why I love doing this job! I'm experienced in all aspects of Nursing, I've done pretty much everything expected, I am Certified in Nursing, I'm in school for Phlebotomy, I worked 15yrs in Dementia Care, as well as Alzheimers. I enjoyed it so much and wanted to be able to do more for the residents that I ended up taking college classes my junior year of high school. The redbirds won the state while we were cheering our first year ever. I am a very upbeat outgoing person who believes that it is the patients choice and decisions. I do not force anything although I will highly encourage. I have a lot of patients and take my time. I enjoy seeing people smile and enjoy life and if I can help out at all by at least helping them have a few good days, well then it seems my job is being done correctly. I enjoy getting to know my patients the most and hearing about their lives and what they have went through.
