Hospice has shown me many different types of people and how their disease can effect them. My time in the hospital setting gave me a lot of advancement in treatment styles. I'm a very passionate and dedicated caregiver. I became an hha because my grandmother had dementia and I helped my mother take care of her. I started at a very early age caring for the elderly and even children. I love giving a feeling of relaxation and compassion to those who need it. I Love making people smile, laugh, and feel carefree.

I wanted to become a caregiver because I helped with my grandpa before he passed and it made me want to help others. I originally became a cna to keep my auntie home when she was in stage 3 terminal pancreatic cancer she passed away in 2009 and I've been cna certified ever since . I have been a caregiver for 5+ years and I have worked in multiple health care fields with all different types of health issues. I have yet to run into something that I could not handle. Being a nurses assistant is what I do, I have thought about furthering my education multiple times but I keep coming down to the decision that I would not get that one on one time like I do now with my patients/residents. I am very proud of where this career as taken me and how my job makes me feel knowing I put a smile on someone's face and I was the person who was there for them when they didn't have someone to talk to. I am a very outgoing individual and I love to have fun with my co-workers and residents/patients. Everyday I go to work my number 1 goal is to make sure every single person I come in contact with get the best service I could provide with my experience and if I can not answer a question for them then I direct them where to go and also get educated on the answer myself for next time.

The hospital she was in treated her horrible and I didn't like it. So I became a cna to make a difference and to care for the people that needed the right care.i enjoy spending one on one and getting to no the people I take care of I like the stories they tell.im proud of how far I came into the line of the medical field.

My name is Ashley Kemple, a born and raised kind hearted southern Indiana girl. I became a caregiver a few years ago after watching my grandparents become sick with cancer and at the time, wasn't able to help much. After seeing them suffer the way they did and not being able to help, all I wanted to do after that was help people who were in need of care just as they did. Ever since I've been a caregiver, the most rewarding part of my job and the main objective with each passing day is to give everyone the best treatment possible and to be able to put a smile on the person's face. Every day that I accomplish that, I go home knowing I've made some sort of difference in that person's life, and it makes me feel great about what I do.
