I am a dedicated State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA/CNA) with over 15 years of experience as a caregiver and have provided care to individuals in different settings. I value integrity and compassion as key in pursuit of my career and strive to achieve this with the principle of treating people how you want to be treated. I started caregiving as part time while in college and it turned out to be a humbling and rewarding career for me. Humbling in way that it has made me to appreciate life, and rewarding for being a part of making someone's life better.

I have learned so much and continue learning. I'm so passionate about caregiving for I also was in a wheelchair the first years of my life as a child. Now I'm healthy and strong, but I know what it feels like to be dependent on people and my best strength is to anticipate your needs before you have to ask. I lived in California all my life. I just moved to Kentucky. I took care of my beautiful mom and a wonderful lady for over 6 years. They both passed away within 6 months of each other, broke my heart to pieces. I have family in Kentucky and decided to move. I've been here 2 weeks and ready to start my life. When your caregiving, your a care provider, friend, advocate, and grow so close and love the people you take care of. This profession has enriched my life, and it's my calling. I have the experience you are looking for! I am a 57 year old lady with 33 years of registered nursing experience! I have worked with premie newborns to the elderly up to 104 yrs old! I am very loyal and trust worthy. I became a Caregiver because as a teenager, my family took care of my grandfather who was bedridden and had dementia. I was in charge of his breakfast and morning medicine. I found much fulfillment and dedication to help those who can not help them selves. My personal achievements that I am so proud of, is that of the personal relationships I have made throughout my career! One client asked me, "Why are you so nice to me?" I replied, "Because you are my friend." She nodded her head and smiled ear to ear! That one moment brought me so much joy and satisfaction! I was born to be a caregiver!
