I've always been a caregiver. My little brother was born when I was 3yrs. Old and I've taken care of him and my mothers other children as well, as well as my own mother. Hello, my name is Laura. I worked two years as a caregiver in California. I enjoyed every second of it, until I moved to New Orleans and became a stay-at-home mom. I'm married to a wonderful husband who is stationed here as a Marine and two adorable kids. I am ready to get back out there and do what I love to do and that is working with our senior citizens.

What makes me a great caregiver is the fact that , I'm dedicated to treating my client, with the respect, compassion, dignity, loyalty, and honesty that they have earned as my elder . My clients are my first and foremost top priority. All elders should always be treated with kindness, and respect, as if they are my own family. They should always be shown love and attention, which will allow them a certain feeling of comfort letting them know they are very important and needed. One of my favorite's is strolling down memory lane, which is an activity I like to provide my clients with while massaging their hands, & feet. I consider it to be a form of therapy that several of my clients enjoy.

Being a caregiver has been pretty much my whole life. Ever since I can remember maybe around the age of 14 I was helping my grandparents recover from strokes, breast cancer and a colostomy. Since a young girl I have enjoyed taking care of others and rendering aid where there is need. I have been a provider/ caregiver since I was 19 and now I'm 28 years young with three girls on my own.
