I feel very passionate about helping others in their own environment .I feel as if I can give a gift ;a gift to others who want to stay in their own home. And , I want them to feel safe with doing so. I enjoy providing care to people in need.

I got my Personal Care Aide license in 2006 so I would know how to care for my mother who had cancer and then 2011 tended to my father til his death in 2013. I enjoy visiting and hearing about the clients unique lives, I enjoy the flexiablity in hours as a caregiver, but most of all knowing with my assistance I am helping people live longer and happier lives indepentently. I am proud that I was able to care for both my parents before they died and I was able to keep them from going to the nursing home. I am a single, white, female, mother, caring, reliable, hard working, a great cook, and friendly. I worked for East Arkansas Area Agency on Aging and recertified my personal care aide training in Arkansas in 2014. My clients always bragged that I can fold laundry like department store and the fitted sheets like should be folded. That is due to my 10 years in hotels business and many years working Apparel department at Wal-mart. I am currently a greeter at Wal-mart.

The thing that I enjoy most about being a CNA is being able to help make a difference in someone's life. I have been certified as CNA since 1999 and I am qualified to adminster medications and qualified to care for disable and mentally challenged clients as well.I also am proud of being a mother of five grown children and grandmother to several grandchildren.

I became a caregiver because I feel it's the will of God and I get to help many families when their going through the difficult times of love ones transition. I really feel it's one of the gifts I've been bless with. I'm reliable, trustworthy and very experienced in caregiving. I love to help clients that just need someone to be there.

I love caring for the elderly. They are so wise and have so much knowledge. As a, young child I had to help my grandma with daily activities such as cooking, cleaning and,making sure she took her medication. And I love helping her it made me feel warm inside. From then on I knew I wanted to help the elderly. I'm also a CNA and CPR and first aid certified. Im also work for tenncare @ The Choices Program.
