Hello my name is ChaunteNicole I'm a mother of 4. I'm from California. My husband is retired military and we have made North Carolina our home. I love working within the healthcare field. I have my associates in healthcare administration and clinical. I love helping people working with them to have a better quality of life. I always had a love for the healthcare field and being able to help and provide services for those who can or can't no longer do for themselves or can. I love to just be there for someone who doesn't have a person or just need someone so they don't feel so lonely.

I am a Wife and a Mommy! I absolutely love taking care of people and helping people. Every since I was a little girl I have loved seeing people happy, love putting a smile on peoples' face. I have done caregiving for years and I enjoy doing it.

I am a very compassionate and tender hearted . I treat everyone how I would want to be treated and how I want my kids to treat others . In first grade I wrote a paper on how all I wanted to do when I grew up was be in the healthcare field. At a very young age my mom got sick and I helped take care of her everyday . Shortly after having my first child my uncle got put on Hopsice care and I went to the house everyday to help take care of him as well . I enjoy being able to build a bond with my patients , I like seeing them do better and feel better .

I have been in the Home Health Care / CNA field since 1999. I enjoy being one-on-one with my clients. My main desire is to assit anyone that is able to continue to live in their home and have some help with being self assisted.I believe everyone deserves to be cared for by a person who genuinely understands about their feelings an enjoy's helping make them safe an confident about themselves.

I am 40 years old. I was an LPN for 19 years. I have been a personal caregiver for the past 3 years. In my nursing career I have worked in nursing homes and in a critical care hospital. I enjoyed both very much but my heart is in geriatric care. I have specialized in caring for dementia patients for the majority of my career. I love taking care of people and take great pride in my work. I have learned a lot while working in the healthcare field but my favorite thing about this work is that you continue to learn new things every day. Each person I care for is different and original in the things they like and dislike and getting to know them is key to being the best caregiver I can be. No matter what I learned in school the best education I could ever get comes from getting to know each one individually and having the opportunity to work with them.

I began assisting with caregiving at the age of 15 when my Grandmother was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia.. After assisting my Mother with her care throughout my high school years I decided at the age of 18 I would register to enroll in the CNA course. I had no intentions of stopping there , I also enrolled in curriculum courses at the local college to take my prerequisites towards the RN program. After two years of college I was already a CNA and had completed my prerequisites for the Nursing program. I applied for the program and at this time it was very competitive . I didn't get accepted, but a friend advised me to to enroll in the Medical Assisting Program. This was successful; I completed the program and became a Medical Assistant in August 2007. I plan to re-apply for the RN program in the future. I have been in the Healthcare profession for 10yrs and I love it. Caregiving I believe has came to me as a God given passion and skill. My Grandmother who just celebrated her 82nd is being cared for by me and Mother. She is now bed bound but has acquired no skin breakdown, or any other issues that can stem from being restricted to the bed. I have had an impact on my patients throughout the years , almost as much as they have had on me, and I plan to continue helping individuals in the future.
