I have a child with a disability in which I have been the primary caregiver for and it taught me so much time and patience and hands on experience to help others as well. Nice to meet you all! Caring for someone is like caring for my own family. My fun and positive attitude would help me be a great caregiver. Growing up I spent a lot of time caring for my own family members. My grandmother had Alzheimer's, stopped walking and had Diabetes.I was able to give her the love she always gave me when she was able to. I also had other family members I cared for as well. That is what really got me started. Watching her kids and loved ones not want to care for her got me there. Everyone deserves to be cared for properly and carefully. I love knowing that at the end of the day I made someone's day easier or better. I know it is hard on families at times. You want to be there but may not be able to. So for me I am the fill in, the one who is there to ensure you are cared for and needs are met. I also am a mother and had a premature child. I love being a mom and wife and someone people can count on and trust. In life I have seen someone people go with love or care and that is partly what drives me to do the stuff I do today. It got me into hair, cooking and caring for others. There aren't enough people who care or have compassion for others this day in age. I wouldn't want myself, children or loved ones to be unloved or cared for.

I am a very hardworking caregiver. I have been doing this kind of work for 24 years and am very passionate at what I do. I'm a good listener and try to give each person their own independence and help when needed or asked. I have a sense of humor and love to make my people happy and laugh. I have experience in a variety of areas when it comes to the home health care field. I became a caregiver because I believe in giving back and helping those who may not be able to help themselves or who needs a little more help than someone else. I love being able to be there for others. A personal achievement I am proud of is moving to North Carolina from Pennsylvania away from my family and doing it all on my own. I currently care for my mentally disabled sister in law. I also cared for my mother in law providing her with respite care. I am not new to caregiving. I am a very caring, honest, and understanding person who has worked with clients with various different disabilities. Such as cerebral palsy, autism, bi polar disorder, depression, and anxiety. I also have helped taken care of family members who have ADHD and Dementia. I love knowing that by helping people, I can make a positive impact in the world. I knew I wanted to be a caregiver after always helping my mother take care of other family members and realizing those lessons have taught me that everyone in the world goes through things and everyone needs a reaching hand at some point in life. My name is Peta-Gay Pitter I grew up in Jamaica, I love cooking, cleaning and reading i am very observant, punctual and responsible. I was attracted to being a care giver because i grew up with my grandmother and when she became ill, it was my joy to return the favor she granted me as a child growing up. ever since I was alway over joyed to help others wh cant help themselves. I have just got my Batchelors Degree Education which is a big deal because i was the first in my family to graduate College.

I am a people person and a nurturer by heart. This is what called me into the nursing profession. I am a mother of 3 and also a cancer survivor. These 2 things alone have molded me into a more patient, kind, and grateful individual. I have worked in healthcare for 21 years and I come packed with experience.

I am a CNA/Companion Care aide with 10 years plus experience put predominantly with senior care clients. I also worked with clients who had dementia, alzheimers, Parkinson's disease have also work with stroke clients ect: I am very passionate about care for people I love to help those are not able to help them so I give 110 percent in treating people as I would love to be treated and cared for.
