I have always enjoyed helping people who need me! I listen to my clients and help them through anything they may need as well as accompany them while we do housework or exercise. My favorite part about caregiving is making a difference in the lives of those I am blessed to be a part of.

I am an amazing, nurturing, and caring person. I have not had a professional hospital job before, however i have been taking care of both my ill grandmother and grandfather for the past 5 years who both have suffered strokes. I will serve and take care of your loved one just as if they were my own. I graduated nursing school with my RN degree in 2014 I am currently in the process of studying for my state board examination. I am looking for a career start to aid in my nursing experience. What helps me be a great caregiver is the fact that I love people in general, spending time with anyone of any age is a blessing. I was attracted to being a caregiver when I realized how much fun I would have when I stayed nights with my granny even though I had a lot of responsibility to do there, I still managed to have fun. Not only do I enjoy meeting and spending time with new people, I do like to find productive things to do with my time, so things like housekeeping, volunteer work, or cooking, I have a passion for. A personal achievement I'm proud of is being able to take care of my granny's husband after finding out he lost his memory. It was a challenge but it helped to better my skills in caregiving.

I love to work with, and care for the elderly. They need compassionate people to help them in their time of need. I gave alot of patience, and that's one if the most important things to them. I love to cook, and clean, and they just sometimes want someone to talk to them, and listen to their stories, and I'm that person. I worked for a Surgeon for over 20 years, and have experience in the medical field. I'm a very hard worker, and would love to work for the elderly, it makes me feel good to help them, and hope to make a difference in their life. Im a positive outgoing person and full of energy maybe to much. That's one of the reasons why I feel I can make a difference in others lives. I have enough positivity and energy to share with everyone. While being in highschool I took a nursing class which allowed me to volunteer at the nursing home near my school which was amazing to me ! Everyone said I loved it way more than I should but they don't get to see the most amazing things that come from helping others! I also went to a elementary school that was down the road from my school which allowed me to volunteer with special education and pre development with pre schoolers. That also was so amazing im so lucky I had the chance to do that and or be allowed. So with all that I decided to go to Tide Water Community college in Virginia Beach and get my CNA. Which was the best choice I ever made. I will be finished by October 31 or November 10 we're waiting for an evaluator to pick up our testing date. While taking this class I have been doing clinicals at a nursing home near the school. I wasn't there long and after two days I had already fallen in love with all the residents. I love helping people and Its something that comes naturally to me. I love how they become family and to me it's helping me learn how to appreciate the little things in life. You also meet amazing people that having amazing story's. So I hope that you take me in to consideration because I promise I'll treat your family like it's my own.

I have been a care giver for over 14 years. I enjoy working with the elderly and helping them with all their needs. I have worked with dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, stroke, heart attack, and cancer clients. I do light house work, meal preparation, medication administration, doctor appointments, shopping/errands, bath assistance, laundry and help with range of motion exercises. I'm very reliable and dedicated to giving the best possible care to your loved one. Also I'm a very patient and caring person who has exceptional communication skills. I was with my last client for 7 years until she passed. She was such a sweet heart, I miss her dearly. I enjoyed getting up everyday to be with her, she became part of my family.
