I am a loving and caring person that takes helping others in their homes seriously. I believe people belong in their homes with their families especially eight now with the way COVID is.

I have been in the health field for over 13+ years, I've worked at a nursing home throughout college. Went to LPN school (still have to sit boards) My most recent employer was a 74 year young lady with Parkinson's. I worked with her for 10 years. I was what she called her "Girl Friday" I did everything from medication reminders and dispensing, to hiring aides, payroll, care for her cats, ran errands, shopped for her, brought her to all appointments, Cooked for her, house cleaning, bathing, dressing, toileting and companionship ( we were incredibly close) I am a very dependable and reliable caregiver. I am kind, caring and considerate. I love taking care of the elderly. I can truly say I am good at what I do, and take enormous pride in my care.

I took care of both of my grandparents before they passed away. I've always working in healthcare.

I am a compassionate, creative old soul who loves going above and beyond for those I care for. Not only a great companion, but I'm able to provide personal care in a comfortable setting. What makes me a great caregiver is that I pay attention to details. I do exactly what I'm told, asked and also give advice according to my expertise and I tell the truth about what is needed when it matters. I first started working with elders within my monastery taking care of their basic needs and taking them back and forth to doctor's appointments and following their doctors care of plan. That transmitted to my professional work life as a certified nursing aide, as I work in the nursing homes and also in private home settings. It brings me joy to see those who are in need of help receive the assistance that they need without taking away their dignity and also giving them the extra help that's necessary.... at the same time allowing them to do what they can for themselves. I have a broad range going from helping those with terminal illnesses all the way to those who just need extra assistance around the house. There is no job too big or too small for me to do.

I believe a caregiver should be someone that the patient can trust undoubtedly, and be able to bond with. After all we spend so much time with someone in their home everyone needs to be comfortable. I don't just see caring for people as a service but an honor. To be able to get to know someone's life, likes, dislikes and story all make this type of work extremely rewarding. **Will be available full time any hours after May first. Until then times will need to be set up in advance. My other job is 2-10 pm.

I have been a care giver since 2008. I became interested in being a caregiver when my grandmother needed care. She is what drove me in my career. I cannot picture doing anything else as this is what brings me joy. The ability to keep our elderly at home for as long as possible and make sure their needs are met above and beyond is what I strive for.
