I initially started working in this field when my grandmother became ill and needed 24/7 care. After helping her for those last months of her life, I realized it was something I really enjoyed doing. I have been a certified nursing assistant for about 6 years, I absolutely love it. I do daylie activities for those who can no longer do day to day things for themselves . Such as transferring, oral care, dressing, transferring to commode and or bed pen . Changing briefs (depends), cleaning up, assisting with showers, daylie range of motion excersises, medication reminders and just whatever needs to be done . I have lots of experience, I have never had a complaint from anyone I have ever taken care of. Making life easier and more enjoyable for those who struggle with day to day activities is my goal.
