I'm a talkative friendly & outgoing person. I am passionate about nursing and health care....especially for the elderly! I went to school to be a nursing assistant when I was in my late 40's because straight out of college I got married (32 years now!) and had two daughters. AFTER the youngest one graduated from high school in 2010, I was then able to pursue my real dream of getting certified to be able to care for clients and hopefully make their lives a bit better!

I enjoy helping people and making a difference in their lives. I received certification in excellence training in Dimentia and Alzheimers. Comforting people and making them laugh/smile is one of my strengths. When I care for people I feel like I have done a good deed and I'm doing what I was put on this Earth to do. A personal achievement I am proud of is getting the proper training and experience I need in the medical field to successfully share my gift with others.

I have work in the hospital for the past 17years, I also work in home health care . I am a certified nurse aide. I also work in rehab for 6 years I became a caregiver because I love to help people. It is my calling. Caring for other give me joy to know that I was there , when someone needed me. I am now working on my register nurse degree, hope in the next year I will have my achievement. I am very a reliable person, honest, and give my best in every thing I do. I love to cook, read and spend time with my family. I am also a dog lover.

I am by nature a giving person with a passion for the elderly. My experience spans 12 years via a state institution working with the mentally challenged; and private companies servicing seniors. I prefer seniors. My services includes light housekeeping, bathing, dressing, light cooking, feeding and med reminding. Will work with dogs (no problem) but allergic to cats and cannot work for prolonged periods of time without taking meds; occasional over nights are desirable.

I'm friendly, nice and like to help people. I'm a very trustworthy and a passionate person. I also wanted a rewarding job, and caregiving is just that. I enjoy talking to and making people laugh. I was very friendly with all our residents at my previous job. I am proud to have four healthy grandchildren that I adore.

The personality traits I have are that I am determined, enthusiastic, reliable, honest, encourageable, helpful, resilient, playful, caring, and genuine about what I do and who I am as a person. What attracted me about being a caregiver is the fact that I can be a huge benefit in someone else. I hope and pray that I will always be known as the person that everyone can come to or rely on in times of need. Being a Care Giver gives me great joy and pleasure to be of assistance in someone's every day necessities in their life. I love what I do and the roll I play. A few personal achievements I am proud if, first and foremost are my amazing children, then the fact that I am currently in the US Army and in a combat MOS as a woman, also that I am able to provide for my family and uphold my duty to my country all in one. My mother in law was in a accident paralyzed when I was 17 I took care of her and ever since I just loved to see the smiles on families faces with the sense of relief knowing their loved one(s) are in great hands. My personal achievement is when a family states the client is stuck in certain ways and I can get them to open up to do things like paint or simple as having a conversation with me.
