Hello there. I'm Gabby. I'm a very outgoing, energetic, positive vibes CNA and currently working on obtaining my RN degree licensure. I offer excellent care for your loved ones, giving you the peace of mind you need and deserve. As a single mom of three teenagers (now all 3 are in college!) I moved to North Carolina 8 years ago to be closer to my own aging parents. In 2015, Dad became wheelchair bound with Parkinsons and Mom was no longer able to care for him. I rolled up my sleeves and made the necessary renovations on my home there and moved them both in with me. I pushed pause on my nursing studies and was able to spend some great quality time with Dad before he passed away a week before Christmas in December 2018. Mom's dementia had been progressing, so I became his sole caregiver and provided for his every need until he "graduated." Three months later, Mom had a massive stroke rendering her the equivalent of a three year old. No longer able to dress, toilet, or feed herself or even articulate what she needed, I stepped up to the plate again and began caring for her 24/7 until her death one year ago. I would not trade even a millisecond of the time I was able to be with my parents. It allowed me some great moments with each of them and helped me fine tune my skills as a professional caregiver. I graduated with a Master in Public Health emphasizing in Healthcare Administration. I have worked at hospitals, nursing homes, homes health as a caregiver. They both died from cancer. Some of my dearest friends have been and are above the age of 70. My name is Angela I became a Caregiver right out of High School 2003. My family has been doing Caregiving most of my life so I fell right into it. I have experience in everything. I have taken Care of different Client's with different disabilities. I cook, clean, transferring if needed, showering, bathing, changing depends, errands , appointments, tube feeding, I have all physical experience if Client is bedridden and so on. Please only serious people contact me pay is $202 and up, i really do feel Caregiver's are underpaid here in Utah Caregiver's should not be paid the same amount as fast food places its ridiculous especially dealing with bodily fluids. If you want hard work, good work a good Caregiver who will take good care of your family members or yourself the pay should be at least $25 and up and that is actually still low. I do apologize if I offend anyone but i have worked for great people and families who have told me what i am worth. Ive been doing it for 20 years. From bathing, changing open wounds, bandages, changing depends giving showers, feeding, walking exercising all these things and more all these things and people are charging $10 Please dont call me if this is you. I am a very good Caregiver and i can make your life easier by being an awesome Caregiver for your love ones or yourself. I dont mind working long hours either i would rather prefer to work Live-In. Only serious inquires only. My backround is good also history if you want to do anything further as far as a background check, it really is up to you whatever makes you feel comfortable and safe. I am CPR Certified and i have my food handlers license. I do have job references if needed. I had the pleasure of caring for my grandmother after several Strokes. My son also had a Sever TBI (brain injury) I have first hand experience with his care. I enjoy and find gratification in helping our elderly when they no longer can so things for themselves. I look forward to seeing them and doing all I can do to help them have a good day! I just finding my CNA course with a 94% and I am waiting to take my State Exam. I have Clean Criminal Background History. I have a Drug Free, NonSmoker. I have Finger prints and I am CPR/AED Certified. I love the company Im working for , however, I don't have a set schedule as yet. Thus Im looking for more work. I would like to work Monday - Friday. I truly have a passion for in-home care. I've spent the majority of my adult life in the field because I feel that it's a field that is overlooked and under appreciated.
