Hi! Welcome to my page. Let me first tell you alittle about myself so you can measure if I would be a perfect fit for your family/ loved one. I've been in healthcare for over 10 years working in different settings from Rehabilitation, Nursing homes, Chiropractic care to individuals with disabilities. My roommate in College has Cerebral palsy so I helped her daily with your needs. I'm very familiar with many other disabilities as well. I am happily married now just wanting to offer help for others. I understand completely wanting to meet me first before so you can decide if I would be a good fit. That's no problem at all. I have recently submitted a back ground check so I can show proof of my clean history. I genuinely love people and helping others is my passion in life. I have worked as a Medical Assistant for agencies in the past however I find this way allows the family to choose who they feel most comfortable around. I have graduated with a Degree in Human Services with a minor in Disabilities. I'm an open person so your welcome to ask me questions or concerns you way have about myself. Enjoy your day! **Available on Friday's after 12 and Saturdays **
I've been a caregiver for over 5 years. With such experience, I've learnt that offering assistance to someone who cannot do for themselves has its rewards - it is greatly appreciated from the person being helped and that is great fulfillment for me. I've also chosen to do this because I'm a nursing student with an interest to specialize in geriatrics.

I have always had great compassion for those who are sick, the elderly, and disabled. I began my caregiving by volunteering for Hospice for seven years. CNAs happily taught me how to do bed baths, empty urinals, and even how to change bed linens with patient still in bed. I am comfortable, and have experience in just about all facets of caregiving, which includes personal hygiene, including bathing, feeding, safely transferring patient from bed to chair, etc. I am comfortable using a Hoyer lift, and have changed and sanitized urine bags. Upon moving to a new city I began doing home caregiving as a way of paying my bills, and family recommendations kept me busy. I have enjoyed caring for the ELDERY with all kinds of medical problems, and DISABLED people, as well. In addition to passing the background check required for this site, I have a LEVEL II BACKGROUND CHECK which is far deeper than this site requires. I have taken and passed the HHA test, although I did not take the class. I am CPR certified, have had a two step TB test, I presently work for a local caregiving agency, but they are unable to provide me with enough hours, so I am eager to get full time hours! I have many references I can give if you are interested in knowing more. I prefer days, but I am open for any schedule.

The age of my clientele has ranged from 21 to 104. Wherever you are I can go to get to you. If you are in a facility and you want me there I can be there. I am a huge advocate for my clients and I have a zero tolerance policy for maltreatment or neglect. I also will not allow anyone to exploit or abuse a client without reporting it to the proper authorities. I have advanced training in Alzheimer's and dimentia as well as some Occupational Therapy training as I am a full-time college student in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program currently. Set to graduate to 2019. I am currently taking on new clients for overnights during the week 7 PM to 7 AM I may be able to take 8 PM on or 9 PM on depending on what time it ends in the morning. That would be on a case-by-case basis. I go back to school August 28 and will be in school on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I have to be available Thursday mornings to be in school for 8 AM
I am 22 years old . " Oh My " Yes I am young . I have 1 child . I have been a caregiver off and on for 7 years in between going to school and taking care of my daughter which had some medical issues . But every since I was a young girl my great aunt had became sick and everyone else was working so after school or on the weekend I was there to help her out . I loved doing it . I have a very very very soft spot for people that's needs someone to help them either with personal needs, just want company, or want someone come and run out and do things that they are no able to do. So now I'm trying to build a career from this.

I am an older man that enjoys the company of the elderly. I am an excellent care giver. I am an CNA , certified CPR. I have had experience with older and younger clients. Best traits that I have in being a great caregiver are Patience. Those who provide home care to others need to be patient. Being patient means that the person understands that there may be changes in plans, things may not go as quickly as planned, and there may be a little hesitation at times on the part of the person receiving care. Compassion, When someone has compassion for another they have an understanding of what the person is going through. Attentiveness, I think It is important when providing home care that the caregiver is attentive to the needs and changes that are taking place. By being attentive, the caregiver, will notice when there are emotional or physical changes in the person he or she is caring for. Dependability, I feel as though those who need home care don't usually just need it sporadically. Rather it is on a regular basis, so it is imperative that a caregiver be dependable and show up to provide the care that the person needs and is counting on. Last but not least Trustworthiness, Caregivers are often in a position that will allow them to have access to the belongings of the person they are caring for. It is crucial that the caregiver be someone who is trustworthy and will not breach that trust by taking advantage of the person her or she is caring for. I enjoy doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. I take pride in my attention to detail.
